
Do not begin any work until you have received formal written approval. Unapproved changes may need to be removed at your expense.
Any change to the exterior of your home or visible yard areas requires written approval from the Architectural Review Committee before work begins. Applications are typically processed within 30 days.
Common examples requiring approval:
• Exterior paint — including repainting in the existing color
• Window or door replacements
• Backyard structures (no structures permitted in front yards)
• Pools, spas, and hot tubs
• Temporary equipment such as dumpsters or portable restrooms
• Landscape and hardscape changes visible from the street
Monterey at Mirabel has a pre-approved coordinated palette of exterior paint colors. Both Dunn-Edwards and Sherwin-Williams carry the approved colors. The names and numbers differ between brands, but the colors are matched.
Garage doors may be painted in one of the following:
Retaining and landscape walls should match the main body color of the home on all sides.
View fences, AC enclosures, and pool equipment gates should be painted using semi-gloss metal paint in one of the following Dunn-Edwards colors (Sherwin-Williams can match both):

Monterey at Mirabel falls within Area 1 (north city limits to Deer Valley Road). Place items at the curb no earlier than the evening before the first scheduled date.
